Training at the center I was introduced to you by Ofer as an extraordinary person. He told me that your training methods and knowledge was like an encyclopedia. He said that if he had your knowledge he would be a millionaire. When I trained with you he couldn’t have been more right. Last year I tore my MCL and went through a lot of rehab. When you came to me and analyzed how weak my hips were and the circumference measurement of the deficit of my quad that’s when I realized what I needed to do to regain strength. You helped me increase
my left quad one and a half inches in our training period. The hip exercises that helped alleviate the pain of my knee will help me in the season to come. Thanks again my good friend.
My name is Rafael Solis, I was a collegiate, and European Professional basketball player. Now I run two to top basketball performance companies specifically targeting youths ages 8-18. I will admit that I was always the first one to either criticize or poke fun at the so-called "healthy" lifestyle and those that followed it. Perhaps much of this can be attributed to not having a full understanding of what it really entailed. This all changed after one meeting with Dave Stagnitta.
Three months ago, I decided to enter the Body Transformation Challenge. Although I had been firmly dedicated to an exercise program for the past 7 years, I realized that I was going to need to make many changes in the area of nutrition if I were to have a realistic shot at winning the competition. The problem was that I had no idea what to do. That is where Dave came in. As cynical as I was about the lifestyle, after one meeting, I was greatly impressed by Dave's wealth of knowledge about both exercise and nutrition. More impressive than that, however, was his own dedication to the lifestyle; he was proof of the benefits that the lifestyle can bestow upon its followers. At this point, I agreed to give this new lifestyle a chance. As Dave pointed out to me, I would now be able to maximize the results of all of my hard work in the gym by supplementing it with the proper nutrition.
After only 8 weeks, the results speak for themselves. I have lost 23 pounds and 4% body fat. My body looks better and more defined, and best of all, I feel better. Feeling the way I
do everyday has proven invaluable to me. No longer do I feel sluggish nor have headaches resulting from improper nutrition. Instead, I feel great all-around; I am more mobile, more energetic, and even find myself in a much better mood for longer periods of time. Before coming to David Stagnitta, I had lost a few pounds from 308 lbs. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try. I had bad asthma, I was sick a lot, sleep apnea, low blood sugar, high cholesterol, reflux, and depression about my weight.
Dave and I started a diet and three days a week exercise program. He said I'd get results. After a few weeks I did. My hope soared I worked harder and I felt better. My health problems slowly lessened and I was then only left with minor asthma. After a year, I had lost 93 lbs.
I have better self esteem and am truly impressed with my
transformation. I'm happy with the present results and expecting more to come.
For much of my adult life, I had been athletic and active. I have trained for marathons, engaged the services of personal trainers and ridden the weight loss—weight gain roller coaster. I had never had any issues of personal commitment or time constraints. That is, until 1 went to nursing school. Nursing school was extremely intense, very similar to the intensity of med school. I lived, ate, and breathed pathophysiology, care planning,
and procedures and spent an average of 5 hours daily studying. For survival purposes. I had to work 2 jobs as well. This left little time for physical activity, and I gained a little over 50 lbs. In March of 2008.1 decided I'd had enough. I was fat, tired, unhappy with my looks, couldn't get a date and just generally miserable, I had to develop new methods of bending over and tying my shoes due to my new belly. How depressing.....where did I go wrong? Being gainfully employed again. I decided it was time for a fresh
new commitment to fitness and health. I enlisted the services of Dave Stagnitta to help me regain what I had slowly lost in school.
Well, I'm here to say it was one of the most productive uses of my income ever! I tost 42 lbs in 3 months, gained definition in my muscles, and regained my self confidence that had gotten lost in my mac and cheese lifestyle. And as far as strength coaches go, Dave is top of the line. He somehow knows when to push and
when to stop. He suggests small changes in body position that create whole new exercises. He is smart, fun, and friendly and we really have a great time (as he systematically kicks my butt!). I used to think that if I ate anything I wanted and exercised the heck out my body I would be healthy and obtain results. But that is never the case, is it? I am 5'2" and weighed I86 pounds. My body fat percentage was 36%. I felt sluggish, fatigued, and stressed. I especially did not like the way I looked. No matter how hard I worked out I was never obtaining the results and goals I wanted. Then I met David Stagnitta. As a trainer and strength coach, he eradicated my view of what is considered healthy and what I could do to obtain REAL results. I was always concerned about the word "diet" because I thought it meant eating cardboard. David motivated me to understand it's not a "diet" plan and it should be considered a "nutrition" plan. He provided a nutrition plan for me that fit my lifestyle. I assumed the foods I previously ate were healthy but he was able to educate me on how to read labels and understand what foods were good for you and what eating in moderation meant.
I will admit following the new nutrition plan was difficult for the first month because my body was used to eating large meals sparsely throughout the day. David taught me how eating proper foods in small meals, and in certain increments would push my metabolism in a healthy way. Once I got the nutrition down he provided me a great work out plan where I worked out three days a week. His workouts were nothing like I have ever done at the gym before. He took time to pay attention to the way I did the exercises. He made sure I learned the proper exercise and weight lifting techniques. On days I felt lazy and did not want to work out, David would find inventive ways to encourage me to reach my goals. And I would then feel "fired" up to work out. With discipline, the right nutrition and exercise plan, and amazing motivation from David, within just 4 months I was able to go from 186 pounds with 36% body fat to 141 pounds and 19% body fat. For women sizes, I went from a size 14 to a size 7. I feel more energized, less stressed, and built a positive confidence about how I feel and look. David Stagnitta is an awesome coach. He educates and motivates individuals to a healthy lifestyle. I would recommend anyone to train with him any day.

I Katie McCormick have always been active and athlete but, as with most women, getting older and having a kid it just became to harder to keep the weight off. I met Dave Stagintta through a friend and we just started chatting about life goals and where I personally wanted to be and I got to know Dave's personality while listening to him talk about his passion to help people with their personal goals.
I asked him to take me on as a client. We started working out and getting my meal plan set I lost 10 lbs pretty much right off the bat. Then I started training for the Las Vegas 1/2 marathon which was great to have Dave by
my side because he's not only great with strength training but Dave is also great with endurance. I personally was getting addicted to setting goals and accomplishing them. So of course when I wanted to start competing in fitness competitions. I looked at Dave to be my coach. Dave had taken my body and totally transformed me. I won 1st in my class which was so amazing and I couldn't have done it with out him. Dave was so motivational, positive, fun, but strict which was what I needed to get through all the tough times of that intense training.

Sixty days after starting an eating and training regime with Dave Stagnitta, I am in the best physical condition of my life - if only I were this strong and healthy ten years ago! fitness routines....Dave Stagnitta is the strength coach to have! I went to Dave to work on improving my strength and quickness for volleyball and I ended up losing 20lbs and toning my body beyond my original goals.
I've been working with Dave for 6 months now and have seen amazing results in that time. I have never felt stronger or healthier. I feel I am a much better player than I have ever been mostly due to Dave's unique training techniques. He makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! I come from a competitive sports conditioning background. Over the years, I have enjoyed competing with, and coaching the novice high school and elite collegiate swimmers. During the past 30 years, I have been lucky enough to have worked and trained under some insightful coaches and strength trainers. Each one understood the importance of balancing great conditioning with speed and power. Programs that can foster an individuals speed and functional strength, along with injury prevention, are hard to find. I have visited other sports specific centers with my family, and trained at other well know centers in New York and New Jersey. Each one has had its merits. However well known the program, its effectiveness is determined and established by its trainers. Training with Dave has met and exceeded the multiple fitness needs of my family and I. As a "fit over 40" parent of three active children, it has improved our overall explosiveness and core conditioning. At this time, my BMI (body mass index), has edged closer to its collegiate level. My core strength has improved dramatically as well. Whether it is training for a triathlon, climbing high peaks, or skiing adventurous hills, Dave has enabled my family and I to redefine age on their own terms!
